Commitment to Safety

The global pandemic caused us to take stock of what is important. Without a doubt, the answer is clear. People. People are important. And when people are the top priority, their safety is crucial.

Critical infrastructure continued to be maintained and constructed during the pandemic in most areas. At Pfefferkorn, this means working while social distancing, wearing masks when in close proximity and conducting meetings virtually. Our team and clients didn’t miss a beat. Information was communicated effortlessly thanks to technology. We also used masks made of high visibility material. Project success was achieved at the speed of safety.

During this time our safety program adaptes to include pandemic protocols. Dogged determination conditioned so many to fight through minor symptoms and get the job done. The pandemic exposed the dangers of this approach. Sneezing and coughing are no longer considered minor. The Pfefferkorn culture rewired this fight-through-the-discomfort mindset. Staying home while ill demonstrates care for others and their wellness.

There will always be things outside of our control. Because of this, we foster a solid culture of safety. The pandemic not yet over, so we at Pfefferkorn are committed to continuing CDC protocols to keep you and our team safe. We are so grateful for the opportunities to serve our community and will go the extra mile to keep all safe.
