Gabe PfefferkornGabe Pfefferkorn, PE is a Licensed Professional Engineer and Partner at Pfefferkorn Engineering & Environmental, LLC. With over two decades of experience in bridge and culvert design and construction, Gabe brings deep technical knowledge and field expertise to complex infrastructure projects across the Midwest.

Before co-founding the firm, Gabe worked with leading Kansas City-area engineering companies, where he designed and managed a variety of structural and transportation projects. His responsibilities spanned contract administration, culvert construction, project management, and on-site construction supervision, giving him a comprehensive perspective on infrastructure delivery from planning through completion.

Gabe has played key roles in several major projects, including the I-70 Rocheport Bridge spanning the Missouri River, Highway 169 reconstruction, the FAS 300 bridge rehabilitation, and the emergency shoring of the I-235 bridge. He holds certifications in concrete paving, drilled shaft inspection, soils field testing, erosion control, and deep foundation engineering—demonstrating his commitment to technical excellence and quality.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Missouri and is licensed to practice in nine states: Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, Iowa, Kentucky, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas. Gabe also serves on the Southeast Kansas Economic Development Board, where he advocates for regional infrastructure growth and sustainable, long lifespan development.
