About Pfefferkorn Engineering & Environmental: Pfefferkorn Engineering & Environmental is a DBE/WBE certified, woman-owned small business providing engineering and environmental services. PE2 was established in 2015 as a partnership between a sister and brother. The company owner, Kate Pfefferkorn-Mansker, PE has worked as a chemical and environmental engineer in regulatory compliance, water quality, environmental permitting for industrial facilities throughout the country since 2007. Since 2003, Gabe Pfefferkorn, PE has designed and managed several civil engineering projects pertaining to roadways, bridges, structures and waterways throughout Kansas and Missouri. In 2013 Mr. Pfefferkorn started his own engineering practice in Paola, Kansas serving municipalities and contractors. Both Mrs. Pfefferkorn-Mansker and Mr. Pfefferkorn grew up in Missouri and graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

The strength of PE2 is the experience and knowledge its employees have working on construction inspection, structural, stormwater, roadway and environmental projects, and their dedication to providing the best service experience for their clients. The engineering and environmental professionals on the PE2 team are subject matter experts for bridge assets, construction engineering, surface water management, environmental reporting and municipality projects.
